How do you do the grand entrance ?? What songs do you like to use ??

We are very flexible with the Grand Introduction in that we allow the bride and groom to select a song that is most appropriate to their style. We do offer suggestions (20th Century Fox Theme, Let's Get Ready to Rumble, and others). As for the manner, we welcome guests to the facility, introduce ourselves, and then move right into the formal introduction of the wedding party (and that may or may not include the bridesmaids/groomsmen depending on what the bride and groom want). Of course, we ask that everyone stand and help us welcome in their first public appearance as husband and wife (the bride and groom...and this is however they want to be introduced). It is definitely a celebration type of moment.

I also let the bride and groom select the song. I have a form that they complete and they like to be introduced.
The guests stand while they are being introduced.

The reason I brought this up is I had a couple change their intro song 4 times now !!!

Todd I So agree and the more we can work together with the other professionals the better this industry can be !!!!

Here in the central valley it is terrible. I have seen for my own two eyes other DJ's just slamming other professionals along with just down right lying about stuff to steal jobs and referrals. So hopefully we all can put and end to it. I have been on TV urging brides to meet with everyone they hire and make sure that each professional is what they say they are.

We have a DJ here that books 2 events and then takes the higher paying one and leaves the other client out in the cold...He is a nice guy except for that...but when I offer to help him correct the mistake he gets nasty with me...the same DJ gets upset if I am at an event even though I am not performing...He has been doing this for over 30 years and he is intimidated by me ...Go figure.

Talking about working together, if you would like me to place a link to your website, please let me know.

That’s the problem with our industry. We are all Type A's we want to be the guy in the front. I have been told by other DJ's that I need to take a backseat in the Assertions and not speak at the mixers because it's not fair to the other DJ's. I told him you just need to stand up and ask to speak. I only do it because no one else wants to.I am surprised that he still gets bookings if he dumps all of the other events. How about this DJ at a $ 50.000 wedding. I lost the DJ portion because he was cheaper but still did the lights and staging. This is him during the dinner.
