I would like to learn more about our videographers. Tell us where your from and what your equipment choices are.

I am from Springfield, Ohio and I have been involved with wedding videography for over 20 years. I shoot with Canon and edit with Vegas Pro.

I am located 15 miles southeast of Columbus in Canal Winchester, Ohio
I use Sony HD Cameras and have done wedding video since 1988.
I am retired from Kone Elevator/Escalator and video and photography are a hobby. I purchased my first 8MM movie camera when I was 14 years old for $10.00 and I still have it, there is a roll of film in the camera and I have no idea what is on it. We also have another video business called Boogie Heads, its your head placed on a professional dancer's body and it is a huge hit at festivals and parties. I think it would be much more fun than having a photo booth at a wedding reception. No editing just hand over the DVD's to the participants.
http://www.boogieheads-ohio is the web page and if you click on about us you can view my daughter Carly and I in action on the first clip.

My business is located in the Los Angeles Area and we have been providing video excellence since 1972. We were chosen Best Videographer in Los Angeles by MyFoxLA. We have a complete studio and each editor has his own room. We also provide Corporate video production. We use the Sony 2/3" chip Broadcast camera as well as the Sony HD. We are presently using Adobe CS4 for our Blu Ray production and Final Cut Pro for others. Along with our event videography, we offer almost 300 games and entertainment, such as the mechanical Bull, Photo Booth and Dance Heads, which we can provide in any major city.
I take great pride in our work and after 36 years it's not about the money, it when people say how much they enjoy it, that is my applause!

I am located in southern Orange County, California. I have just started up my videography business, and my first wedding is this weekend.

I shoot with Canon, and I edit mainly with Sony Vegas Pro. Occasionally, I'll use Pinnacle Studio for nostalgia's sake.

I'm from Davenport (quad cities) in Iowa. This is my 3rd year in business and we've currently expanded and opened up a studio as my wife is joining me full time and she is offering photography. About 80% of our work is wedding related. I use all Canon HD equipment, and sony vegas to edit. A complete list of what I use and the write up of the new studio can be found on our blog http://www.mediainnovationsblog.com

I'm in sunny Cincinnati, OH. Currently I'm shooting on the Canon A1 and cutting on FCP, but I think my cameras are about to change. I started doing this five years ago and this is my third year full time and its been a great ride so far. You can see some of my work on my blog, www.glasseyevideo.com/blog, but that too is about to change as I revamp my branding. Looking forward to meeting some of you sometime!

Hi, I'm in Vermont and at the moment shoot weddings with the JVC HD110 (HDV) and edit on FCP. I've worked in video for almost 20 years. I started shooting weddings 5 years ago when my 1st son was born, and this year have fully embraced wedding video.

It's not the best time to push a high end wedding video business, but I'm excited about it. I recently updated my web site www.TweedRiverVideo.com and just set up a FB page a few days ago.

I look forward to hearing how things are going for all of you.

We're in the Atlantic City area. We currently shoot with Sony PD1702's and EX1. We edit mainly in Final Cut Pro, but also use Adobe Premiere. We are certified audio engineers as well as videographers, and use pro tools for audio along with Soundtrack pro. We'd love any referrals for destination weddings that might be coming to our area in Atlantic City and will do likewise for any of you.

We're in central Arkansas - currently shooting with Panasonic DVX100Bs, and editing on Premiere Pro. Hope to upgrade to the HD versions soon :) We've been in the wedding business for a little over three years. We're television folks - both my husband and myself have worked in tv since 2001. We're freelancing from our home, and doing phenomenally. More business than we can keep up with.
