First of its kind registry improves millions of lives by allowing couples to directly support charitable projects in the U.S. and around the world.

Washington, D.C., December 2, 2015 Heartful.ly announced today the release of the their wedding wedding registry for charitable giving platform. Engaged couples and wedding guests alike can use the platform to make generous contributions to nonprofit organizations in the U.S. and around the world.

Heartful.ly partners with nonprofit organizations to spotlight real development work and provides couples with an elegant platform to support the projects of their choice. Each project tells a story about the community it serves and features a unique gift list with specific items from that project’s budget. Projects available for funding are located around the world and address a wide range of community needs, from lifesaving surgeries in Guatemala, girls’ education in Kenya, and entrepreneurship seminars for unemployed youth in Senegal.

“Heartful.ly is an extremely personal way for couples to make a difference on their wedding day,” said Kate Glantz, Founder and CEO of Heartful.ly. “Marriage is a vibrant celebration of love and community, which makes it a symbolic opportunity to share the joy with those who need it most.”

In the beta program, Heartful.ly registries have already improved thousands of lives in Tanzania and Senegal.
“Heartful.ly was a smooth and meaningful way for us to support a cause we care about, and our guests were all excited about it!” Said Washington D.C.based couple Lindsey Gardner and Matt Levinson whose registry supported a HIV/AIDS training for rural health workers in Tanzania. “The registry concept and project both started interesting discussions between our family and friends.”

Heartul.ly is also proud to announce being crowned the winner of the Washington Post’s Ingenuity event on Wednesday, December 2, 2015. Heartful.ly is based in Washington, D.C. and is currently partners with more than 25 nonprofits on five continents.
